J.K. Rowling のハーバード大学の卒業式でのスピーチ（2008年）です。

I cannot remember telling my parents that I was studying Classics; they might well have found out for the first time on graduation day. Of all the subjects on this planet, I think they would have been hard put to name one less useful than Greek mythology when it came to securing the keys to an executive bathroom.

Of all the subjects on this planet, I think they would have been hard put to name one less useful than Greek mythology when it came to securing the keys to an executive bathroom.
で「古典文学を勉強していると両親に伝えた記憶はありません。卒業式の日にはじめて知ったんじゃないでしょうか。両親にとって、重役用化粧室の鍵を手に入れるのに、ギリシャ神話ほど無意味な科目を挙げるのは難しいかったことでしょう。」という意味になります。

I cannot remember telling my parents that ～ で「私は思い出せない、両親に～ということを伝えたことを」です。
つまり「～だと両親に話した記憶はない」ということです。
(that) I was studying Classics で「私が古典を学んでいたことを」です。
they might well have found out で「両親はたぶんそれを知っただろう」です。
might well ～ で控えめに推量をあらわし「～したんではないだろうか？、～してもおかしくはない」です。
for the first time で「初めて」
on graduation day. で「卒業の日に」です。

Of all the subjects on this planet, で「地球上のすべての教科の中で」です。
I think they would have been hard put to name ～ で「私は思う、両親たちが、～を挙げるのは非常に難しかっただろうと」
they は「両親たち」を指しています。
be hard put to do ～ で「～するのに苦労して、～するのが難しい」という意味のコロケーション。
例：I was hard put to solve the problem「その問題を解くのに苦労した。」
何を挙げるのが難しかったかというと、
name one less useful than ～ で「～よりも有益でないものを一つ挙げる」です。
name はここでは動詞で「～の名前を挙げる」という意味になります。
one は「～なもの」という意味。ここでは subject を指しています。
one less useful なので「～よりも有益でないもの」という意味なっています。
than Greek mythology で「ギリシャ神話よりも」
when it came to ～「～のこととなると、～のことでは」
securing the keys to an executive bathroom. で「重役用化粧室の鍵を確保すること（では）」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
