Today, I was talking with my closest coworker about her boss. She told me that she yelled at her and told her, “You capricious and silly girl, you have to be more independent and brave for this job. You are a lawyer; think about your duties.” She told me this as her boss came up behind us. FML
で「今日、一番仲のいい同僚と上司について話していた。その女上司は彼女をこう怒鳴りつけると言う。『気まぐれで頭の悪い娘ね。もっとこの仕事に対して自主的で積極的でないとダメよ。あなた弁護士なんだから、自分の職務についてよく考えなさい。』と、その女上司が背後から近づいてきている時に彼女はわたしに話した。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I was talking with my closest coworker で「私は～と話していた、一番仲のいい同僚と」です。
closest は close「近い」という意味の形容詞の最上級なので、発音はクロウゼストゥではなくて、クロウセストゥとなります。
about her boss. で「彼女のボスについて」です。
boss は「上司、上役」です。her となっているのでその同僚が女性だと分かります。

She told me that ～ で「彼女は私に～だと言った」
(that) she yelled at her で「彼女が彼女を怒鳴りつけた（と）」です。
she は同僚の上司を指して、最後の her は同僚を指しています。
and ～「そして～」
told her ～ で「彼女に～と言った」
“You capricious and silly girl, で「あなたは気まぐれでばかな娘だ」
capricious カプ[リ]シャスで「気まぐれな、むら気のある」です。
you have to be more independent and brave で「あなたは～でなければならない、もっと自主的で勇敢で」です。
independent は「自主的な、独立した、自立した」です。言われたことばかりではなく自分の頭で考えて行動するということですね。
brave はブ[レ]イヴ「勇敢な、勇ましい」ですが「決断などが思い切った、勇気を出して挑戦するような」です。
for this job. で「この仕事に対して」
You are a lawyer; で「あなたは弁護士なのだ」
think about your duties.” で「自分の職務について考えなさい」です。
duties は主に複数形で「職務、職責、責務、任務」です。
例：professional duties as a teacher「教師としての職務」

She told me this で「彼女はこのことを私に話した」
as ～「～している時に、～しながら」
her boss came up behind us. で「彼女の上司が私たちの背後に近づいてきている時に」
come up to ～ で「～に近づいてくる」という意味の句動詞です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
