で「そこで私はこう考えました。『いや、もし先延ばしする人のシステムがちゃんと機能しているのなら、いったい何が起きているんだろう。どうしてこの人たちはみんな、こんなにも追い詰められているんだろう』と。で、分かってきたのは、先延ばしには二種類あるということです。今日ここまで私が話してきたこと、挙げてきた例には、どれにも締め切りがありました。」という意味になります。

well, if the procrastinator’s system works,「もし先延ばしする人のシステムがちゃんと機能するなら」
then what’s going on?「いったい何が起きているんだ？」
Why are all of these people 「なぜこれらの人たちはみんな～なんだ？」
in such a dark place?「こんなに暗い場所に（いるんだ）」
in a dark place は、比喩表現で「つらい状況、苦しい状態」です。
Well, it turns out that ～「それで、分かってきたのは～」
there’s two kinds of procrastination.「２種類の先延ばしが存在するということです。」
Everything (that) I’ve talked about today,「私が今日ずっと話してきたことのは全て」
the examples I’ve given,「私が示した事例は」
they all have deadlines.「それらはすべて締め切りがあるのです。」です。
それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
