playing music has been found to (do) ～ で「音楽を奏でることは～すると認められいる」です。
be found to do ～ で「～すると分かっている、～することが認められている」です。
何をすることが分かっているかというと、
increase the volume and activity in ～ で「～における容積と活動を増加させる」です。
volume は「音量」という意味でおなじみですがここでは「容積、体積」という意味になります。
in the brain’s corpus callosum で「脳の脳梁の（における）」です。
corpus callosum で「脳梁」
脳梁とは、
the bridge between the two hemispheres, で「二つの脳半球の間の橋」です。
左脳と右脳の間で情報を伝達するための橋渡し器官です。

allowing ～ 以降は、分詞構文で（そのことは～）と繋がります。
意味上の主語は、直前の文全体を取っています。
allowing messages to (do) ～ で「（そのことは）伝達メッセージが～できるようにさせてくれる」です。
allow ～ to do … で「～が…することを許す、～できるようにさせてあげる」です。
何できるようにさせてくれるのかとうと、
(to) get across the brain faster で「脳をより早く伝わる（ように）」です。
get across は「（情報などが）伝わる」です。
and「そして」
through more diverse routes. で「より多様なルートを通って」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
