妻のぎっくり腰
Today, it’s been almost 24 hours since my wife bent down and couldn’t get back up. After laying in bed all day in agony with a bad back, an ambulance was called. She still currently can’t stand in the hospital. I have two kids to look after and am supposed to be in work tomorrow. I have no idea what to do. FML

Today, it’s been almost 24 hours since my wife bent down and couldn’t get back up. After laying in bed all day in agony with a bad back, an ambulance was called. She still currently can’t stand in the hospital. I have two kids to look after and am supposed to be in work tomorrow. I have no idea what to do. FML
で「今日、妻が腰を曲げてかがんだ後、立ち上がれなくなってから、ほぼ24時間がたつ。腰の痛みに苦悶しつつ一日中ベッドに横になっていたので、救急車を呼んだ。彼女はいまだに病院で立ち上がることができない。私は２人の子供を育てていて、明日は仕事にいくことになっている。一体どうしたらいいのかわからない。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。
it’s been almost 24 hours since ～ で「～してからほも２４時間になる」という意味になります。
since ～ は「～してから、～以来」です。
(since) my wife bent down and couldn’t get back up. で「妻が腰を曲げてかがんで、立ち上がれなくなって（から）」です。
ぎっくり腰になってしまったんでしょうね。
bent は bend「曲げる」の過去形です。
bend down で「しゃがむ、腰を曲げてかがむ」です。イメージはこちら

脚は伸ばしたまま腰を曲げる姿勢「前屈」のことですね。
しゃがむ、いわゆる「ヤンキー座り（蹲踞）」は、crouch down, squat down と言うようです。
またちなみに、足裏全体を地につけたまましゃがむ姿勢のことをアジアンスクワット（Asian Squat）と言って、アジア人にしかできない特有の座り方だそうです。

couldn’t get back up. で「再び立ち上がれなかった」です。
get up「立つ」に back がついた形です。
After laying in bed all day in agony with a bad back, で「一日中ベッドに横になっていた、腰痛に苦悶しながら」です。
lay in bed で「ベッドの中で横になる」です。
こちらの表現、文法的に lie in bed が正解ですが、アメリカ口語では一般的に使用される表現となります。

in agony with a bad back で「腰痛で激しく苦しみながら」です。
agony は[ア]ガニィで「激しい苦悩、苦痛」です。
新聞の悩み相談コーナーのことを agony column と言います。
このFMLもそうですが、古今東西で「他人の不幸」は人気コンテンツですね。
bad back で「腰痛」です。
例：have a bad back「腰が痛い」
After ～ は「～した後で」という意味もありますが「～したので」と【理由】の意味で訳すとしっくりくることがが多いです。
an ambulance was called. で「～ので、救急車が呼ばれた」です。
She still currently can’t stand in the hospital. で「彼女は、かわらずに今も、病院で立ち上がることができない」です。
still は「今も、かわらずに、あいかわらず、前と同じで」という意味の副詞です。
I have two kids to look after and で「私は二人の子供を持っている、面倒を見る（子供を）」です。
面倒を見るべき二人の子供がいる、という事です。
look after ～ で「～の面倒を見る、養育する」
and am supposed to be in work tomorrow. で「また、私は明日は会社にいなくてはならない」です。
be supposed to ～ で「～しなくてはならない、～することになっている」です。
suppose は「～と推定する、～と仮定する」という意味ですので直訳すると「～すると思われている（世間から）」という意味合いです。
例：You’re supposed to be in bed.「君はもう寝ていなきゃいけない時間だ。」
I have no idea what to do. で「どうしたらいいのかわからない」です。
それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
