This is perhaps the most appropriate way to describe で「これが～を言い表すのにたぶん最もぴったりなものだ」です。
appropriate アプロウプリィトゥで「適切な、ぴったりな、ふさわしい」という意味の形容詞です。
例：appropriate amount「適正な量」
most appropriate way なので「もっともふさわしい方法」です。
way to describe で「～を言い表すの方法」です。

何を言い表すのかというと、
the showbiz extravaganza で「ショービズの豪華絢爛なショー」
extravaganza イクストゥラヴァ[ガ]ンザは「派手なショー、華やかな催し」という意味の名詞です。

that takes place in the basement of で「（それは）～の地下で開催されている」です。
take place は「開催される、行われる」です。

the bright, luxurious building で「光り輝く豪華な建物」です。
that houses the Robot Restaurant で「（それが）そのロボットレストランが入っている」です。
house は名詞では「家」ですが、動詞では「～を収容する、～が入っている」となります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
