で「でももし声に重みを加えたいなら、胸のこの辺りまで下げる必要があります。違いが分かりますか？ 私たちはより低い声の政治家に投票しますよね。何故なら私たちは声の深みから、権力や権限を連想するからです。以上、音域についてでした。」という意味になります。

But if you want weight, で「でも、もしあなたが重みを加えたいなら」です。
weight は動詞では「重くする、重みを加える、加重する」という意味になります。
今回は、名詞で「重さ、重し、加重、重みづけ」という意味です。
例：weighted average「加重平均の」
この場合は、「声に重みを与えたいなら」という意味合いですね。

you need to go down here to the chest. で「胸のこの辺りに降りてくる必要がある」です。
胸のあたりから声を出すということです。
chest は「胸、胸部」です。

You hear the difference? で「違いが分かり（聞こえ）ますか？」です。

We vote for politicians with lower voices, it’s true, で「私たちはより声の低い政治家に票を入れます。これは事実です。」です。
vote for ～ で「～に賛成票を入れる」です。
politicians with lower voices で「低い声の政治家」です。

because we associate depth with power and with authority. で「なぜなら私たちは声の低さを、権力や権限と、結びつけるから」です。
associate ～ with … で「～と…を結びつけて考える、～と…を連想する」という意味でしたね。
depth は deep の名詞形で「深さ」ですが、この場合は「声の低さ、深みのある声」という意味です。
power and with authority で「権力と権限」です。
power は「力、権力」という意味です。
authority は「権限、支配権、支配者」という意味です。

That’s register. で「それが音域です。音域については以上です。」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
