慎重を期して運転免許のテストに挑んだところ。

Today, I took my driving test. I was nervous, but I thought I followed the rules of the road pretty well. My tester ended up failing me for “backing out too slowly”. FML
で「今日、運転免許試験を受けた。緊張したけど、自分でも交通規則をかなりしっかり守れたと思った。試験官は結局私を落とした。バックでの車庫出しが遅すぎるという理由で。。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I took my driving test. で「運転免許試験を受けた」となります。
take a test で「試験を受ける」という意味の言い回しです。
driving test で「運転免許試験」ですね。
例：pass a driving test「運転免許試験に合格する」

I was nervous, but I thought I followed the rules of the road pretty well. で「緊張したけど、自分では～だと思った、交通規則をかなりしっかり守れたと。」です。
nervous は「緊張した」という意味の形容詞（adjective）です。
名詞形は nerve で「神経」という意味なので「神経が高ぶった、ピリピリした」という意味合いです。
followed the rules of the road で「交通規則を守った」です。
follow rules で「規則を守る、ルールに従う」という意味の言い回しです。
rules of the road で「道路のルール、交通規則」ですね。
pretty well は「かなりしっかりと、なかなか上手く」です。

My tester ended up failing me for “backing out too slowly”. で「試験官は、結局私を不合格にした、バックで出すのが遅すぎるという理由で」です。
tester は「試験官、試験をする人」ですね。
end up ～ing は、先日も出てきましたね。「結局～する、最後には～することになる」です。
fail me で「私を落とす、私を不合格にする」です。
for ～ はこの場合「～の理由で」という意味の前置詞（preposition）です。

backing out too slowly で「バックで出すのがゆっくりすぎる」です。
backing out はドライビング用語で「バックでの車庫出し」という意味です。
backing out (of parking space) です。
一台分の駐車スペースから、バックで車を出すテクニックのことですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
