A traditional dhow sailing boat で「伝統的なダウ帆船」です。
dhow ダウは「ダウ船」という意味です。
ダウ船とは、古代からアラビア海・インド洋で活躍した伝統的な木造帆船のこと。
sailing boat は「帆船、帆を動力とする船」です。
made entirely of trash and flip-flops で「完全にごみとビーチサンダルできた（帆船）」です。
made of ～ で「～でできている」という意味の言い回しです。
entirely は「完全に、100％」という意味の副詞です。
何で出来てるかというと、
trash and flip-flops で「ごみとビーチサンダル」です。
flip-flops は「ビーチサンダル」のことです。
flip-flop には「パタパタした、バタつく」という意味合いがあります。

has set off on an expedition で「冒険の旅に出発した」です。
expedition エクスペディションは「冒険、遠征、探検旅行」です。
set off は「出発する、スタートする」です。
along the Kenyan coast で「ケニアの沿岸を」です。

to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic waste. で「関心を高めるために、プラスチックごみの悪影響についての」です。
raise awareness で「関心を高める、自覚を呼び起こす」です。
raise レイズは「高める」という意味の動詞です。
例：raise a listener’s attention「聞き手の注意を喚起する」
awareness は「自覚」です。
動詞形は aware アウェアで「気付く、分かっている」です。
(awareness about) the harmful effects of plastic waste で「プラスチックごみの悪影響（についての自覚）」です。
harmful effects で「悪影響、弊害」となります。
bad effects とも言えます。
plastic waste で「プラスチックごみ、プラスチック廃棄物」です。
waste は「ごみ、廃棄物」という意味の名詞です。
例：nuclear waste「放射性廃棄物」、waste bin「ごみ入れ、ごみ箱」
