で「電子スクラップブックサイトのPinterestが金曜日にIPOを申請した。テック系のIPOにとって忙しい時期になりつつある中、その申請は、今月これまでにLyftによる証券取引委員会への同様のIPOの申請に次ぐものとなる。」という意味になります。

株式ニュース用語がたくさん出てきますが、一つ一つ見ていきましょう。

ちなみに楽天からの出資を受け、2013年には日本法人を設立して日本語版をスタートしています。

filed for an initial public offering of stock で「IPOを申請した」となります。
initial public offering of stock で「新規株公開、株の新規公募」です。
IPOs と略されます。
initial は「最初の、初期の、初めの」
public offering は「公募」です。
stock は「株式」という意味になります。
file for ～ で「～を申請する、～を届け出る」という意味の言い回しです。
例：file for bankruptcy「破産申請をする」、file for the patent「特許を申請する」

It follows ～ で「（その申請）は～に次ぐものとなる」です。
follow は「～の後を追う」という意味の動詞です。
it は今回のPinterest のIPO申請のことですね。

何に次ぐものかというと、
a similar filing with securities regulators で「証券取引委員会への同様の申請」です。
similar は「同様の、似ている、類似の」という意味の形容詞（adjective）です。
file with ～ で「～に提出する、～に申請する」です。
securities regulators は直訳すると「証券の規制監督者」ですが、この場合は「証券取引委員会」を指します。

earlier this month で「今月これまでに」という意味の言い回しです。
ニュースなどでよく登場する言い回しです。

by ride-hailing company Lyft で「迎車サービス会社のLyftによる（同様の申請）」です。
ride-hailing は「ライドヘイリング、迎車サービス」といった意味です。
車が必要な時に、スマホで簡単に車を呼べるサービスです。
hail ヘイォは「タクシーを呼び止める」という意味の動詞です。
有名なのは Uber などですね。

in what is shaping up to be a busy season for technology IPOs. で「～な状況の中、テック系のIPOにとって忙しい季節になりつつある（状況の中）」です。
what is shaping up to be は「～になりつつあるもの、～になりつつある状況」という意味の言い回しです。
例：We are facing what is shaping up to be one of the great civil rights struggles of our time.「我々は今、現代の公民権運動にとって大きな障害の一つになりつつあるものに直面している」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
