be placed で「設置される」という意味の言い回しです。

Gokuri とは記事によると、誤嚥性肺炎（aspiration pneumonia）にかかる高齢者が多いので、それを解決するために開発された「飲み下す能力」を測定するためのデバイスだそうです。

record は「記録する、録音する」という意味の動詞です。
「名前動後」の法則の通り、
動詞の時は、リ・[コ]ードゥとアクセントが後になります。
名詞の時は、[レ]・コードゥと前になります。
swallowing sounds で「嚥下音、飲み下すときの（ごくりという）音」です。
swallow は名詞では「つばめ」という意味ですが、この場合は「飲み下す」という意味の動詞です。

artificial アーティ[フィ]シャォは「人工の」という意味の形容詞です。
何のためにかというと、
assess the patient’s swallowing ability で「患者の飲み込む能力を査定する」ためです。
assess ア[セ]スは「査定する、評価する」という意味の動詞です。
名詞形は assessment アセスメント「評価、査定」ですね。
