スーザン・ケイン氏によるTEDでのスピーチ「内向的な人が秘めている力」です。

で「そして、もし彼が子供の時に家に引きこもってばかりの内向型ではなかったら、そもそも、それほどのエキスパートになることはなかっただろうと、ウォズニアックは言っている。」という意味になります。

he never would have become such an expert in the first place で「彼はそんなにエキスパートにはならなかっただろう、そもそも」です。
never would have ～ で「決して～しなかっただろう」です。
such an expert で「それほどのコンピューターの専門家」です。
in the first place で「そもそも、はじめから、第一に」です。

had he not been too introverted to ～ は if が省略された倒置法になっています。
If he had not been ～ が倒置した形です。
if の省略形を知らないと、意味を取れないところなので、しっかり覚えておきましょう。

not too introverted to ～ で「～するほど内向型ではない」です。
if ～ not too introverted to leave the house で「外出できるくらい非内向型だったら」です。
という事は子供のころ彼は家に閉じこもりっきりだったという事が分かります。

when he was growing up. で「彼が成長期の時」です。
growing up は「成長している、成長期」という意味の言い回しです。
子供時代を指して言います。
例：while growing up「子供のころ、幼い時」
grown-up で「成人」となります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

そこまでのエキスパートにはならなかっただろうと

in the first place
そもそもの話
