で「その結果として、今は私がどこに行っても、みんな、私が運が尽きたみたいに扱うんです。冗談抜きで、運が尽きたという感じなんです！例えば、彼らが心配そうに私に近づいてきて、こう言います。『あれを超えることはできないんじゃないかって怖くなったりしないの？』と。」という意味になります。

The result of which is that ～ で「その結果は～ということだ」となります。
The result of which の which は直前の文「本が世界的なベストセラーとなったこと」を受けての関係代名詞となります。
The result of which 「そのことの結果、そのことでどうなったかというと」
is that ～ で「～は、ということだ」です。

どうなったのかというと、
(that) everywhere I go now, people treat me like I’m doomed で「私がどこへ行っても、人々は私を扱う、私が運が尽きたかのように」です。
treat me like … で「私を～のように扱う」です。
I’m doomed で「私が終わっている、運が尽きている」という事です。
doomed で「運が尽きた、終わった、絶望的な」という意味の形容詞です。
例：in a doomed voice「絶望的な声で」

Like, they come up to me now, all worried, and they say, で「例えばこんな風に、彼らが私に近づいてくる、みんな心配そうに、そして彼らは言う」です。
Like この場合は「～のように、～みたいな」という意味合いです。
they come up to me now, all worried, and they say, はあえて現在形を使って臨場感のあるように表現しています。

“Aren’t you afraid you’re never going to be able to top that?” で「～だと心配にならない？ もうこの先あれを超えられないんじゃないかと」です。
Aren’t you afraid (that) で「～と心配じゃないの？」という意味です。
Are you afraid ～, aren’t you? という事もできます。
何が心配かという、
you’re never going to be able to top that「あなたはこの先あれを超えられない（んじゃないかと）」です。
not going to be able to ～ で「～できないだろう」という意味の言い回しです。
例：I’m not going to be able to make the deadline.「締め切りに間に合わせられないだろう」
最後の top は動詞です。「頂点に立つ、～を超える」という意味になります。
例：I doubt if anybody can top my wife.「私の妻を超える人はいないだろうと思う。」
そして that は「あれ」で、先のベストセラーのことですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

それでどうなったかというと

is that
（～ということになった）

今では私がどこに行っても

people treat me
人々は私を扱います

like I’m doomed.
私がもう運が尽きた人だと
