Today, my dad joked he’d have to fight my boyfriend to find out if he’s worthy. My boyfriend grew up abused by his dad and older brothers, and has a powerful instinct to fight back. My dad is now out cold on the floor and my boyfriend is in the corner rocking back and forth and crying. FML
で「今日、父が、わたしの彼氏が価値のある男かどうかを見るために殴り合いの喧嘩をしないといけないな、と冗談で言った。彼は実の父親と兄達から虐待されて育ったので、攻撃に対して反撃する強い衝動がある。今、父は床で気を失っており、彼は隅っこで前後に揺れながら泣いている。 F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

my dad joked (that) ～ で「父が～と冗談で言った」という意味です。
なんと言ったかというと、
(that) he’d have to fight my boyfriend で「父は、私の彼と闘わなければならないだろう（と）」です。
he’d は he would の略です。he は父を指しています。
fight ～ で「と喧嘩する、格闘する、戦う」です。
to find out if ～ で「～かどうかを確かめるために」です。
find out ～ は「～を見つける、～を見極める、明らかにする」です。
if ～ はここでは「～かどうか」という意味の接続詞です。
if he’s worthy. で「彼が価値があるかどうか」です。
worthy は「立派な、尊敬すべき、～に値する」という意味の形容詞。

My boyfriend grew up (being) abused で「彼は虐待されて育った」です。
abused by his dad and older brothers, で「父親と兄たちに虐待されて」です。
and ～「だから～」
has a powerful instinct to fight back. 「（彼には）殴り返す強い衝動がある」です。
have an instinct to do ～ で「～しようとする強い衝動がある」
instinct は「本能的な衝動」です。
例：male instinct to compete「男性の闘争本能」
fight back は「反撃する、やり返す」

My dad is now out cold on the floor で「父はいま、床で気を失っている」です。
out cold は「気を失って、のびて」という意味のイディオムです。
and ～「そして」
my boyfriend is in the corner rocking back and forth and crying. で「彼は隅っこで前後に揺れて泣いている」です。
rock はここでは動詞で「揺れる」です。
rocking chair でおなじみですね。
back and forth は「前後に、いったりきたり、往復して」という意味のコロケーション。
例：jump back and forth「前後に飛ぶ」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
