で「森の風景の素敵な秘密の居場所や、壮大な岩などは、美しい女性と同様に、その魅力の大部分を、付随する、下世話なものから解放される感覚によるところが大きい。それはつまり、純粋さや夢物語の感覚なのだ。」という意味になります。

A lovely nook of forest scenery, or a grand rock, が主語で「森の風景のすてきな秘密の居場所や、壮大な岩」です。
nook [ヌ]ックで「隠れ場所、一目につかないところ、片隅」といった意味の名詞。
例：He lives in a nook of a city.「彼は都会の一隅に暮らしている。」
forest scenery で「森林風景」
a grand rock は「大きな岩」です。
grand で「壮大な、雄大な」という意味の形容詞。
上記のような場所にまで広告が表示されてしまう現状を批判しているわけです。
, like a beautiful woman, は挿入的に「美しい女性のように」という意味。

depends for much of its attractiveness upon ～ で「その魅力の大部分を、～に頼っている」です。
depend upon ～ で「～次第である、～による、～で決まる」という意味のコロケーション。depend on ～ で同じ意味です。
間に挟まれる形で、for much of its attractiveness が挿入されていて「その魅力の大部分について」です。
its は上記の、森の風景 or 壮大な岩などを指しています。

その魅力が何によって決まるのかというと、
(upon) the attendant sense of freedom で「付随する自由の感覚」です。
attendant は「付随する、それにつきものの」という意味の形容詞。
例：attendant complication「付随する合併症」
sense of freedom from ～ で「～からの自由の感覚、～から解放される感覚」です。
何から解放される感覚かというと、
(from) whatever is low で「あらゆる下品なもの（からの解放）」
low は「低い」ですがここでは「品質が悪い、そやな、品のない、下劣な」という意味です。
下劣なものと、広告をあてこすって言っているわけですね。

; upon a sense of purity and of romance. で「つまり、純粋さやロマンスの感覚によって決まる」です。
upon は先ほどの depends (upon) ～ につながっています。
a sense of purity で「純粋さの感覚」そして、a sense of romance「ロマンスの感覚」です。
romance は「恋愛」という意味以外にも「夢物語、冒険心、空想物語」といったイメージも持ちます。
例：family romance「家族空想物語（「私は本当はこの家の子ではなく、どこかの国のお姫様で…」といった家族にまつわる空想のこと。）」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
