で「OCDと言われて人が思い浮かべるような行動の種類、例えば過剰に手を洗うことや、何度も何度も物事を確認することなどは、たぶん私たちの多くが時々見せる強迫性妄想または衝動的な傾向の例と言えるでしょう。」という意味になります。

The kinds of actions that people often associate with OCD, までが主語です。
The kinds of actions that ～ で「～という行動の種類」です。
どんな行動かというと、
(that) people often associate with OCD, で「人がよくOCDと言われて思い浮かべる（行動の種類）」です。
associate ～ with … で「…と言われて～を思い浮かべる、連想する」です。
例：What songs do you associate with Christmas?「クリスマスと聞いてどんな曲を連想する？」
, like excessive hand washing, or checking things repeatedly, は挿入的に「例えば、過剰な手洗い、または、物事を何度も確認すること」です。

そのような行動の種類は、
may be examples of ～ で「～の例であるかもしれない」です。
何の例かというと、
obsessive or compulsive tendencies that ～ で「～な強迫性妄想または衝動的な傾向」です。
どんな傾向かというと、
(that) many of us exhibit from time to time. で「我々の多くが見せる（傾向）、時々」です。
exhibit ～ イグ[ズィ]ビトゥで「～を見せる、～を示す」です。
exhibit は「作品を展示する」という意味もありますがここでは「（感情や態度などを）表に出す、示す、呈する」という意味です。
名詞形は exhibition で「展示会、態度などの表出・発揮」です。
例：exhibit a bad attitude「悪い態度を示す」
from time to time で「時々、折々」という意味のコロケーションです。
