They gave their money, and they gave their screams. But the Beatles kind of gave their nervous systems. They used us as an excuse to go mad, the world did, and then blamed it on us.

で「世間は（ビートルズに）お金と金切り声を捧げ、ビートルズはある意味で自分たちの神経を捧げたんだ。彼らは羽目を外すための口実に僕らを使った。世界がそうした。そしてその後それを僕らのせいにしたんだ。」という意味になります。

「ヴィング・イン・ザ・マテリアル・ワールド」というジョージ・ハリスンのドキュメンタリー映画の解説記事です。

They gave their money, and they gave their screams. で「彼らはお金を捧げた、そして彼らは金切り声を捧げた。」です。
they とは「世間」つまりビートルズのファンたちのことです。
give はここでは「～を捧げる」という意味合いです。
例：unknown soldiers who gave their precious lives「貴重な命を捧げた無名の兵士たち」

But ～「しかし～」
the Beatles kind of gave their nervous systems. で「ビートルズ（のメンバーたち）はある意味で自分たちの神経を捧げた。」です。
kind of はカインダと発音して、副詞的に「ある意味で、たぶん」という意味合い。
gave their nervous systems で「自分たちの神経系を捧げた」です。
nervous system「神経系」です。
例：nervous system disease「神経系疾患」
ジョージ・ハリスンはメンバーの中でも特に目立つのが苦手なタイプだったようです。

They used us as an excuse to go mad, で「世間はわれわれを羽目を外す口実として使った」です。
go mad で「発狂する」という意味から「羽目を外す」という意味になります。go crazy とも言えます。
the world did, で「（事実）世界中が羽目を外した」です。
and then ～「そしてその後で」
blamed it on us. で「それを我々のせいにした」です。
blame ～ on … で「～を…のせいにする」という意味の言い回しです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
