Today, I have to get up at 6 a.m. each day to make it to a class at 8 because of commuter traffic. The college has decided to eliminate an entire parking lot right next to the building where my class takes place, to build a parking garage, which will take 2 years. The only open parking is a field clear across the campus. FML
で「今日、８時の授業に出るために通勤渋滞があるので毎日６時に起きなければならない。うちの大学は立体駐車場を立てるために、授業が行われる建物のすぐ隣にある駐車場を全部撤廃することを決めた。工事は2年かかる。野外駐車場はキャンパスのずっと向こう側にある野原だけだ。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I have to get up at 6 a.m. each day で「私は起きなければならない、午前6時に、毎日」です。
to make it to a class で「授業に間に合うように」です。
make it は「間に合う、うまくやる、無事にやり遂げる」という意味の言い回し。
make it to ～ で「～に間に合う、～無事にたどり着く」という意味のコロケーションです。
例：I made it to the train.「電車に間に合った。」
a class at 8 で「8時の授業」です。
because of commuter traffic. で「通勤時の交通（渋滞）のために」です。
commuter コミューターは「通勤（通学）者」という意味の名詞。

The college has decided to do ～ で「うちの大学が～することを決めた」
(to) eliminate an entire parking lot で「駐車場全部を撤廃することを」
eliminate イ[リ]ミネイトゥは「（望ましくないものを）撤廃する、廃絶する、除去する」です。
例：eliminate a headache「頭痛を解消する」、eliminate a middleman「中間業者を排除する」
a parking lot で「駐車場」です。
entire エンタイアーは「すべての、全部の」という意味の形容詞。
例：entire city「都市全体」
right next to the building で「その建物のすぐ隣の（駐車場）」です。
right next to ～ で「～のすぐ隣の」という意味のコロケーションです。
関係副詞 where でつなげて、
(the building) where my class takes place, で「私の授業が行われるその建物」です。
take place は「～が行われる、開催される」という意味の句動詞です。
, to build a parking garage で「立体駐車場を立てるために」です。
つまり平置きの駐車場を廃止して立体駐車場にするわけですね。
, which will take 2 years. で「それは2年かかる」です。
take（時間） で「（時間が）かかる」という意味になります。

The only open parking is ～ で「唯一の野外駐車場は～」
この open は「野外の」と「営業中の、店などが開いている」という意味があるのでどちらの意味でとってもいいかもしれません。
例：find an open gas station「営業中のガソリンスタンドを見つける」、open booth「露店」
a field「野原、原っぱ」
clear across the campus. で「キャンパスをずっと向こうに渡った」です。
clear across ～ で「ずっとむこうの」という意味のコロケーションになります。
ここでの clear は「～から離れて」という意味の副詞です。
例：stand clear「離れて立つ」、clear across a room「部屋のずっと向こう側に」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
