家族旅行に自分だけが仲間外れの悲劇。

Today, I found out that my family has paid for and booked a trip to Dubai without me. They weren’t going to tell me until they were about to board but since I was crying that my friend ditched me for my holiday, they thought they would let me know. FML

Today, I found out that my family has paid for and booked a trip to Dubai without me. They weren’t going to tell me until they were about to board but since I was crying that my friend ditched me for my holiday, they thought they would let me know. FML
で「今日、うちの家族が私抜きでドバイ旅行を予約して支払いも済ませていたことが分かった。彼らは飛行機に乗る直前までそのことを私に教える気はなかったけど、休暇中に私が友達に見限られて泣いていたから私に知らせようと思ったらしい。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I found out that ～ 「～だと分かった、～だと判明した」はFMLではすでにおなじみの表現ですね。

何が判明したのかというと、
my family has paid for and booked a trip to Dubai without me. で「家族が私を抜きにしてドバイへの旅行を予約して支払いも済ませていた。」です。
pay for ～ で「～の代金を支払う」です。
book はこの場合は動詞で「～を予約する」です。
a trip to Dubai で「ドバイへの旅行」ですね。
book a trip で「旅行を予約する」です。

They weren’t going to tell me until they were about to board で「彼らは飛行機に搭乗する直前まで、私に教えるつもりではなかった」です。
was not going to ～ で「～するつもりではなかった、～する気はなかった」です。
tell me　で「（旅行のことを）私に教える」です。
until they were about to board で「彼らが搭乗する直前まで」です。
be about to ～ で「まさに～しようとしている」という意味の言い回しです。
例：When he visited her, she was about to go out.「彼が訪ねたとき、彼女は外出するところだった。」
board ボードゥは名詞では「板」という意味でおなじみですが、
動詞では「（飛行機・船・列車に）搭乗する」という意味になります。
例：board a train「列車に搭乗する」、boarding time「搭乗時刻」
r を忘れがちなので注意。

but 「しかし」

since I was crying that my friend ditched me for my holiday で「私が休暇中に友達に見捨てられて泣いていたので」です。
since はこの場合は「～なので、～だから」という理由の意味の接続詞（conjunction）です。
since I was crying that ～ で「～だと泣き喚いていたから」です。
cry は「泣く」という意味以外にも「泣き叫ぶ、大声を上げる、批判の声を上げる」という意味があります。
my friend ditched me で「友達が私を見捨てた」です。
ditch ディッチは「人を見捨てる、縁を切る、見限る、恋人を振る」という意味になります。
例：ditch one’s girlfriend「彼女を振る」、ditch one’s work「仕事をさぼる」、ditch one’s car「車を乗り捨てる」

they thought they would let me know. で「（～なので）彼らは私に〈旅行のことを）知らせようと思った」です。
they thought (that)～ です。
let me know で「私に教える、知らせる」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
