cite reasons で「理由を挙げる」という意味になります。
reasons such as ～ で「～などの理由、～の様な理由」です。
どんな理由かというと、
wanting to see the world 「世界をみてみたいこと」
wanting to work on her personal life「個人的な生活に取り組みたいこと」
です。
work on ～ で「～に取り組む」という意味があります。

Utada stepped away from the Japanese music industry で「宇多田は日本の音楽業界から離れた」です。
step away from ～ で「～から離れる」です。
Japanese music industry で「日本の音楽業界」という意味になります。
industry は「産業、工業」という意味ですが、「～業界」という意味でよく使われます。
例：film industry「映画業界」、beauty industry「美容業界」

after having conquered it single-handedly で「業界を単独で制圧した後で」です。
it は前述の the Japanese music industry のとこを指しています。
conquer は「制圧する、征服する」という意味です。
そこから発展して「手中に収める、成功を収める、トップに立つ」という意味でも使います。
single-handedly は「自力で、単独で、人手を借りずに」という意味の言い回し。
single-handed とも言います。
例：bring up a child single-handed「一人で子供を育てる」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
