で「知識を得るには３つの主要な方法がある。自然の観察、省察、そして実験である。観察によって事実を集め、省察によってそれらの事実を結びつけ、その結びつきの結果を検証するのが実験である。」という意味になります。

There are three principal means of acquiring knowledge で「主要な三つの方法がある、知識を得る方法には」です。
three principal means of ～ で「～の主要な三つの手段」です。
principal プリスィポォは「主要な、主な」という意味の形容詞です。
名詞では「校長、学長」という意味でも使われます。
接頭辞 prin-, prim- は「第一の」という意味があります。
例：prime minister「総理大臣」、primarily「第一の、最も重要な」
means はこの場合「手段、方法」です。この意味では常に複数形です。
mean は他にも「意地悪な」という意味の形容詞、「～を意味する」という動詞の意味がおなじみです。
例：mean girl「意地悪な娘」
何の means「手段」かというと、
means of acquiring knowledge で「知識を得るための手段」です。
acquire アクワイアは「（努力して）～を得る、獲得する、取得する、身に着ける、習得する」という意味の動詞です。
例：acquire a foreign language「外国語を習得する」、acquire a license「免許を取得する」

その３つとは、
observation of nature, reflection, and experimentation. です。
「自然の観察、省察、そして実験」です。
observation アブザ[ヴェ]イションは「観察」ですね。
動詞形は observe アブザーヴ「観察する」です。
reflection は「省察、内省、熟考」という意味の名詞です。
reflect はまた「光を反射する、反映する」という意味ですので、
心の中の合わせ鏡で物事を映していろいろな角度から考えるというイメージです。
例：reflection angle「反射角」、after much reflection「熟考の末に」
experimentation は「実験」という意味の動詞です。
動詞形は experiment で「実験を行う、試してみる」です。

observation collects facts; で「観察は事実を集める」です。
collect は「集める」です。
correct 「修正する、訂正する」と間違えないように。

reflection combines them; で「省察はそれらを結び合わせる」です。
them とは前述の facts のことです。
combine カンバインは「くっ付ける、むつび合わせる、組みあわせる」です。
名詞形は combination で「結びつき、結合体、組み合わせ」です。

experimentation verifies the result of that combination. で「実験は検証する、その組み合わせの結果を」です。
verify [ヴェ]リファイは「検証する、確かめる」です。
名詞形は verification ヴェリフィ[ケ]イション「検証」です。
