で「この新しい手法はマイクロウェーブマンモグラフィと呼ばれる。マイクロ波は乳房のほぼ全体を構成する脂肪と乳腺を通り抜ける、それゆえ、乳がん検査にふさわしい。」という意味になります。

The new method is called Microwave Mammography. で「その新手法はマイクロ波マンモグラフィという。」です。
be called ～ で「～と呼ばれる、～と言う」です。
microwave は「マイクロ波」です。話し言葉では「電子レンジ」という意味でも使われます。

Microwaves pass through fat and mammary glands で「マイクロ波は脂肪と乳腺を貫通する」です。
pass through ～ で「～を貫通する、通り抜ける」です。
fat は「脂肪」です。
mammary gland で「乳腺」です。
gland は生体の「分泌腺」を意味します。
例：apocrine gland「アポクリン腺」、thyroid gland「甲状腺」

(which) constitute almost the entire breasts で「（その脂肪と乳腺は）乳房のほぼ全体を構成する」です。
constitute は「～を構成する、～を占めている」という意味の動詞です。
breasts で「乳房、おっぱい」です。二つあるため -s が付いています。
breast と単数形だと「胸部」となります。

and, therefore, are suited for breast cancer screening. で「そして、それ故に、～に適している、乳がん検査に」です。
be suited for ～ で「～にふさわしい、～に適している」という意味の言い回しです。
suit は「～に適合する、ふさわしい、似合う」という意味の動詞です。
単純に目的語を取ることもできます。
例：Short hair suits her better.「彼女には短い髪の方が似合う。」
be suited for ～ の場合は「～にふさわしい、適した」という意味になります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
