裏表の答案用紙。

Today, I got my language final exam back. It was a 10-page essay front and back, and I saw that I received a D. The teacher told me the plot was too hard to follow and it jumped all over the place. It turns out he forgot to read the back of every page. FML

Today, I got my language final exam back. It was a 10-page essay front and back, and I saw that I received a D. The teacher told me the plot was too hard to follow and it jumped all over the place. It turns out he forgot to read the back of every page. FML
で「今日、国語の期末試験が返却された。それは表裏10ページの小論文で、私の評価はＤだった。先生は私に、作文の筋が、追うのが難しく、あっちこっちに飛んでいると言った。先生は全ページ裏面を読むのを忘れていた。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I got my language final exam back. で「わたしは国語の期末試験を返してもらった」となります。
get ～ back で「～を返してもらう」です。
final exam は「期末試験」です。
「中間テスト」は midterm exam となります。

It was a 10-page essay front and back, で「それは裏表10ページのエッセーだった」です。
essay エッセーは日本では「随筆」という意味で使われますが、英語では生徒に課す「作文、小論文」を意味します。

and I saw that ～ で「そして私は～だと確認した」です。
saw ソー は see の過去形ですね。

I received a D で「D評価をもらった」です。
Dは成績の評価です。
アメリカでは以下のような成績（Grade）の評価基準になっています。
A-B-C-D、F
F は Failure「落第」で基準外とすると、Dが最低点となります。

The teacher told me (that) ～ で「先生は私に～と言った」です。

(that) the plot was too hard to follow で「（文章の）筋が、追っていくのが難しすぎる」です。
follow a plot で「筋を追っていく、話の筋についていく」です。

and it jumped all over the place で「そして、筋があっちこっちに飛んでいる」です。
all over the place は「あっちこっちに、いたるところに、乱雑に」という意味の言い回しです。

It turns out (that) ～ で「～だと分かった、～だと判明した」です。

he forgot to read the back of every page. で「先生は忘れた、全てのページの裏を読むのを」です。
先生は、表裏にプリントしたものの「表」だけを読んでいたということですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
