Today, I had been practicing for a solo in a choir I’m in. I finally got it down and was all ready to audition. On audition night, the choir director let me try out, then decided all the sopranos should sing it. FML
で「今日、入っている合唱団のソロ（独唱）のためにずっと練習してきていた。やっとコツを掴んでオーディションには準備万端だった。オーディションの夜、合唱団の監督が私に歌わせた後、やっぱりソプラノ全員で歌うことになった。。 F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I had been practicing for ～ で「私は～ために練習をずっとやり続けてきていた」です。
過去完了進行形になっているので過去のある時点まで「（ずっと）～してきていた」です。

for a solo in a choir (which) I’m in. で「独唱のために、合唱団での、私が入っている（合唱団）」です。
choir ク[ワ]イアーで「聖歌隊、合唱団」という意味になります。

I finally got it down で「私はやっとそれの要領を掴んだ」です。
get down ～ で「～の要領を得る、～のコツをつかむ」という意味の句動詞。
and「そして」
was all ready to audition. で「（私は）オーディションに準備万端だった」です。
be ready to ～ で「いつでも～できる状態である」という意味のコロケーションです。
ready to audition の audition はここでは動詞で「オーディションを受ける」という意味になっていることに注意です。
名詞の意味であれば be ready for the audition となるはずですね。
例：I’m auditioning for the part of Lady Macbeth.「わたしはマクベス夫人役のオーディションを受けるところです。」

On audition night, で「オーディションの夜」
the choir director let me try out, で「合唱団の監督が私に試しに歌わせた」です。
let ～ do … で「～に…させる」という使役の用法です。

then decided (that) ～ で「その結果、～ということに決めた（～ということにした）」です。
(that) all the sopranos should sing it. で「ソプラノ全員がそのパートを歌うべきと」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
