で「この信念があれば、我々は共に働き、共に祈り、共にもがき、共に刑務所に行き、共に自由を求めて立ち向かうことができるだろう。いつの日か自由になれると確信して。」という意味になります。

, knowing that we will be free one day. で「我々はいつの日か自由になれると確信しながら」
ここでの know は「～を確信する、間違いないと考える」という意味です。
例：I know it’s him.「彼に間違いない。」、I knew it.「やっぱりそうか、どうせそんなことだろうと思ったよ。（私は確信していた）」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
