で「だから、もしあなたが、自分から動き出さなければならないようなキャリアを望んでいるなら――たとえば芸術関係の仕事や、起業家的な仕事のようなものです――そういうものには、最初のうちは締め切りがありません。なぜなら、まだ何も起こっていないからです。自分から外に出て、勢いをつけ、物事を動かし始めるための大変な努力をするまでは、何も始まらないのです。」という意味になります。

So ～「ですから～、つまり～」
if you wanted a career「もし～なキャリアを望むのなら」
(a career) where you’re a self-starter で「自分から進んで何かを始めるような（キャリア）」です。
a self-starter は「指示待ちではなく、自分から進んで何かを始める人」です。
— something in the arts, something entrepreneurial –「芸術関係の何かや、起業家的な何か」です。
entrepreneurial は「起業家精神にあふれた、自分で事業を立ち上げるような」です。
発音注意しましょう。アントゥレプレ[ナ]リアォという感じになります。
there’s no deadlines 「締め切りなんてない」です。
on those things「それらのことに」
at first,「初めは、最初は」
deadlines on ～ で「～への締め切り」というコロケーションです。
, because ～「なぜなら～」
nothing’s happening,「何も起こらないから」
not until ～「～までは（何も）」
(until) you’ve gone out and done the hard work「あなたが自分から出て行って大変な努力をする（までは）」
go out and ～ で「出かけて行って～する（積極的に～する）」という意味のコロケーション。
to get momentum,「勢いを得るために」
get things going.「物事を軌道に乗せるために」
それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
