姉（妹）が結婚することになった。

Today, my sister told me she is getting married and asked me to be the Co-Maid of Honor. Who is the first maid of honor? Her cat. She is serious. FML
で「今日、姉（妹）が結婚することになったと私に言ってきた。そして私に【副】花嫁付添人になってくれと頼んできた。第一の花嫁付添人は誰かって？彼女が買っている猫だ。彼女は本気だ。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

my sister told me ～ で「私の姉（妹）が私に～だと言った」となります。
told は tell の過去形ですね。
sister では「姉妹」でどちらかはわかりませんが、海外では日本ほど「姉、妹」の区別を考えないようです。
明示したい場合は、big sister「姉」、little sister, younger sister「妹」となります。

何と言ったのかというと、
she is getting married で「結婚すると（言った）」です
get married で「結婚する」です。
進行形になっているのは、近い将来の話・予定で「結婚することになった」という意味合いになります。
話が進んでいるという意味ですね。

and asked me to be the Co-Maid of Honor で「私に【副】花嫁付添人になってくれと頼んだ」です。
ask ～ to do で「～にdoするように頼む」です。
Maid of Honor は「花嫁介添え人リーダー」です。
結婚式で、花嫁の近しい未婚の女性が務める役です。
bridesmaid「花嫁介添え人」のリーダーになります。
男性版の「花婿介添え人リーダー」は、ちょっと前にも出てきましたが、best man と言います。
groomsman「花婿介添え人」のリーダーとなります。
Co- は「副、補助役の」という意味になります。
例：co-author「共著者」、co-captain「副キャプテン」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

姉（妹）が私に～と言った

she is getting married
結婚することになったと

and asked me
そして私に頼んだ

to be the Co-Maid of Honor.
副花嫁付添人になってくれと
