So, no wilderness, no revelations. This is no surprise, though, if you look at the insights of contemporary psychology. It turns out that we can’t even be in a group of people without instinctively mirroring, mimicking their opinions.
で「ですので、荒野なくして悟りは無いのです。ですが、現代の心理学の知見を考えれば、これは驚くことではないのです。私たちは、一つのグループの中にいれば、本能的に周りの人の意見に同調しまねをしてしまうという事が判明しているのです。」という意味になります。

So, no wilderness, no revelations. は「なので荒野がなければ、悟りは無いのです」となります。
前回の文を受けての文です。
no ～, no … の形で「～なくして…なし」です。

This is no surprise, though, で「でも、これは驚くことではない」です。

if you look at the insights of contemporary psychology. で「現代心理学の知見を見れば」です。
insight は「知見、見識、洞察」です。
contemporary psychology で「現代の心理学」となります。
contemporary は「同時代の」という意味の形容詞です。

It turns out that ～ で「～ということが分かった」です。
turn out で「結局～が判明する」です。

何が分かったかというと、
we can’t even be in a group of people で「私たちは人々の一つのグループの中にいることさえできない」です。
without ～ing で「～することなしに、～せずに」です。
without instinctively mirroring, mimicking their opinions. なので「本能的に彼らの意見を反映し、真似をすること無しには」です。
ひとつのグループの中にいれば、その中の他の人の意見に同調してしまうものだということです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
