で「大気中における二酸化炭素の増加は、地球の気温を約1.2℃も押し上げてきている。その蓄積が止まるまで、気温は上昇し続けるだろう。つまり、毎年の二酸化炭素の追加での増加が、ほぼゼロになるまでである。」という意味になります。

The build-up of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere で「大気中の二酸化炭素の蓄積」です。
buildup は「積みあがること、積み重ね、増加、増強」です。
例：buildup of cholesterol「コレステロールの蓄積」
carbon dioxide で「二酸化炭素」です。
主要な気体の名前は覚えておきましょう。
oxygen [オ]クスィジェン「酸素」、nitrogen [ナ]イトゥロジェン「窒素」、hydrogen [ハ]イドゥロジェン「水素」、fluorine フ[ル]ォリン「フッ素」、chlorine ク[ロ]ーリン「塩素」
the atmosphere で「（地球の）大気」
has raised Earth’s temperature で「地球の気温を上げてきている」です。
raise レイズ で「～を上げる、上昇させる」です。
by about 1.2°C. で「およそ1.2℃（上げた）」です。
ここでの by は単位の意味で「～ぶん、～ずつ」という意味になります。
例：a tax increase by 5%「5%分の増税」
Earth と、the 無しの場合は、宇宙視点で「（天体としての）地球」という意味になります。
Mercury　水星、Venus　金星、Earth　地球、Mars　火星、Jupiter　木星、Saturn　土星
の内の一つ、というイメージですね。

It will go on rising until ～ で「それは～するまで上がり続けるだろう」です。
主語の it は Earth’s temperature を指しています。
go on ～ing で「～し続ける」
until the accumulation stops, で「その蓄積が止まるまで」です。
the accumulation「その蓄積」とは、最初に出てきた二酸化炭素の蓄積のことですね。
build-up の言い換え表現です。

, which is to say ～ で「つまり、言い換えれば～」
until annual additions are reduced to more or less zero. で「年間の増加分が、ほぼゼロに減少するまで」です。
additions は二酸化炭素の「追加、積み増し分」です。
more or less で「おおよそ、ほぼ、多かれ少なかれ」
環境問題関連で more or less zero と同じ意味で、net zero もよく使われます。
これも同じく「実質ゼロ」という意味です。
ここでの net は「正味の、掛値のない」という意味の形容詞です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
